Pomega Enerji Depolama Teknolojileri (”Pomega“) is a subsidiary of Kontrolmatik and is currently in the investment phase of a Lithium Iron Phosphate (”LFP”) based battery cell production facility in Turkey. It is envisaged that the final investment will consist of 3 phases with a total capacity of 3 GWh when completed.
This ongoing investment in Polatlı / Ankara will contribute to reducing the foreign dependency of Türkiye. In 3 phases, the total capacity of the plant will be 3 GWh of which the first stage is planned to be 500 MWh.With the launch of the first phase of the factory, more than 250 jobs have been generated, and an additional 600 jobs are targeted with the commissioning of the other phases.
Pomega Enerji Depolama Teknolojileri A.Ş. will respond to the increasing demand of the industry by producing Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells, modules and energy storage systems. These products will be the best solutions for power plants, national grids, factories, home applications and other areas that require high power.
The first phase of the investment started with the purchase of a factory with an area of 97,450 square meters in the Polatlı Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara. Construction work began at the end of 2021, and the first 500 MWh capacity is expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2023.
The primary products will be Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Prismatic Cell and Battery Group. At the same factory, Pomega will produce various value-added products based on the essential ones. This value-added product range mainly will be supplied to the industrial companies that produce solutions in energy storage systems and e-mobility areas.
Products such as LFP Energy Storage Rack, Container Type LFP Energy Storage, Electric and Mobile Vehicles Charging Systems, Hybrid Renewable Energy Storage Products and Storage Containers will offer turnkey B2B solutions to Network Operators, Electricity Market Players, industrial Customers, and e-Charging Stations in terms of ‘energy storage’.
The followings are B2C product for relevant industries: Flat and SLI Automobile Batteries, External Energy Storage System and Rack-Mounted UPS Batteries.
EV Charging Technologies aims to provide B2B turnkey solutions to heavy electric vehicles such as trucks and buses. And Bidirectional Inverter Solutions are products that can be used for all energy storage systems.

The Mobile Solutions Factory in Ankara, Kahramankazan, built on a land of approximately 8.000 m2 and with closed area of 4.000 m2, began operations in 2021. The facility provides mobile energy solutions to different sectors in different countries.
The factory manufactures mobile energy generation, transmission and distribution equipment such as mobile substation, E-House, energy storage systems, mobile hybrid power generation units etc. Developing tailor-made solutions for projects with its experienced teams, the factory offers turnkey mobile solutions for its customers mostly abroad, from ventilation to firefighting infrastructures.

Progresiva will carry out wholesale and retail sales activities both in Turkey and abroad. Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies, which is a 25 percent subsidiary of Kontrolmatik, is Turkey’s largest private venture in satellite and space technologies.
