Turkey’s 2035 Renewable Energy Roadmap Highlights Ambitious Targets for Energy Independence and Sustainability
In unveiling Turkey’s 2035 Renewable Energy Roadmap, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar emphasized the nation’s commitment to strengthening energy independence and advancing toward a sustainable future. He highlighted that investments in wind and solar energy will accelerate, and energy storage technologies will play a critical role in optimizing the use of renewable resources.
As Turkey’s first domestic prismatic lithium battery producer, Pomega is proud to contribute to these strategic goals with innovative energy storage solutions. In line with the 2035 targets, regulatory frameworks supporting increased energy storage capacity have been introduced, paving the way for 67.3 GW of wind and solar projects to integrate storage systems. These projects are expected to attract $40 to $45 billion in investments, making Turkey a compelling destination for energy investments.
