Controlmatik Technologies Inc., Pomega Energy Storage Technologies Inc. and Siemens Industry Inc. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish an "Engineering and Solutions Alliance" by providing 'priority' status to each other in their areas of expertise.
According to the statement made to KAP, this cooperation established between three companies aims to create a sustainable global battery ecosystem by combining the strengths of the parties to ensure the transition to a more sustainable energy system.
“With this collaboration, Pomega Energy Storage Technologies (America) and Uzmanmatik Technologies Inc. (America) plan to accelerate energy storage operations in North America.
The parties have determined the basic roadmap to conduct chemical research for new generation battery production, to develop and implement innovative solutions for sustainable energy initiatives, to identify general infrastructure opportunities, and to interact with new US-based OEM providers by evaluating opportunities.
This collaboration is aimed to expand the global reach of all three companies and make significant contributions to their efforts in the field of sustainable energy storage.
Controlmatik and Pomega plan to optimize and standardize the use of Siemens solutions with continuous support in Pomega's first prismatic LFP battery factory in Turkey and the LFP battery factory in South Carolina.
"Funding of strategic projects by Siemens Financial Services is also included in the defined framework of the cooperation."
