Project Summary:

At Pomega Energy Storage Technologies, we are honored to be part of the TEİAŞ General Directorate Campus Ankara BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) project, in collaboration with our affiliate Kontrolmatik. In this project, we installed two energy storage systems, one with a capacity of 500 kW/700 kWh and the other one with a capacity of 500 kW/600 kWh. All installation processes, including system mounting, grid, and solar power system (GES) connections, were completed by Pomega.

Project Objective:

The main goal of the TEİAŞ General Directorate Campus Ankara BESS project is to meet the energy needs within the campus using clean energy sources, enhance energy security, and ensure the continuity of workflow during potential energy outages. This project aims to ensure energy supply security for the buildings within the campus, allowing uninterrupted business processes.

System 1: 500 kW/700 kWh

Scope: Installation of energy storage systems, including grid and solar power system connections

The energy storage systems established in this project play a critical role in storing energy obtained from renewable sources and meeting the campus's energy demands. These systems address imbalances between energy production and consumption, ensuring the continuity and security of the energy supply.

Project Contributions:

Increased Use of Clean Energy: The project has significantly increased the use of renewable energy at the TEİAŞ General Directorate Campus, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Energy Security: The installed energy storage systems have ensured energy supply security for the campus and prevented potential energy outages.

Uninterrupted Workflow: The systems activate during energy interruptions to ensure the continued power supply to campus buildings, preventing disruptions in workflow.
